Do you know Saman Dance? Wow it is an interesting dance! Saman Dance is a traditional dance of Gayo tribe in Aceh, usually displayed to celebrate important events in the Gayo customs. "Saman" derived from one of great scholars of Nanggroe Aceh Darussalam (NAD), Syech Saman.
The function of Saman dance is as a media for the achievement of the message. Saman dance reflects the solidarity, togetherness, manners, educational, religion and heroism.
The poems and songs of Saman dance uses the Gayo language and the Arabic Language, and it is disclosure together. The players consist of men or women who are still young by wearing traditional clothes.
